resort supply

Postby rightwing26 on Fri Jan 18, 2008 4:47 am

I've had trouble with the Resort Supply mission in FSX A. I've flown gotten to the airport where I am supposed to drop off the other pilot. Just before landing, he says "there's the Maule". However I havn't been able to find it. There is no mission pointer for it, and I can't see it from the ground or the air. I've tried adjusting the settings to no avail, and am stuck. Any help would be appreciated.

I found that mission to be very 'buggy.' There's lots of glitches. There has been lots of problems with that mission that have been reported.

There are a lot of things not completly right with this mission. I had the same problem you did, and when i started over, i landed right before the Maule. It worked then.

It's a cool mission though. Nice terrain, and it's very cool to get the F16's right in front of you.

I agree, It's a cool mission. I just tried to fly it again and after i landed to pick up the maule, millions of trees were floating in the air and 5 mins. later FSX quit unexpectedly.

You know, i read al lot of this kinda error's in FSX, but i never expierenced something like that myself... I have a patch that fixes some errors in the terrain, maybe that's the thing you need. You can install this patch by installing SP1 or SP2 for FSX. Both are downloadble on www.fsinsider.com. One warning though; if you want to install FSX Accelaration, you'll have to install Accellaration before installing SP2, or it will fail.

Even though I didn't try that download patch yet I actually completed the mission(and this time there were no floating trees). after I picked up the maule the left engine of the beech baron quit and i had to limp back to the base. Luckily the other engine didn't quit.

I didn't make it back to the base. I just landed between some trees, and the mission succeeded. You just have to make sure you land safely.

I've flown to Lost River and landed successfully but the waypoint doesn't advance!! I took off and relanded four times and nothing. :x I've flown over the strip numerous times and nothing. I've taxied to the building and nothing, I've taxied under the green arrow and nothing. Incredibly frustrating

What is good family resort in Punta Cana with LOTS to do? I need a great resort for our family vacation. It needs to be on the beach, with lots of water sports, close to shopping and close to a casino. It also would have to have good night life--like shows, music, and bars. Some of our favorites on other islands include Our Lucaya in Freeport and Atlantis in Nassau--so something similar would be good. Thanks for your help!

After landing at 6S9, how do you drop off the pilot? I see a pilot in the Maule, and after taking off the pilot communicates with the airpot in Chelan, and the Maule is in ChChelan, but the missoin log indicates that the pilot is incomplete.

How do I drop off the pilot?

How do I drop off the pilot?

After landing at Stehekin, pull the Beachcraft close to the Maule, your pilot passenger should get out. Taxi to runway 31 when taking off you should see the pilot standing next to the Maule and waving as you go past. Then once airborne a few minutes one of the engines quit on the Beachcraft and the Maule pilot over the radio says, "I see one of your engines quit, just fly down the valley and you should make it back to Chelan OK, see you back at base". Then another few minutes you should see the Maule fly to your left and over the mountains. The Maule makes it back to Chelan before you. Do a flyover at Chelan, the Maule was still on the runway taxing and if you land you would crash into the Maule and incomplete mission message. Best to save the mission lets say five miles out from Chelan that way you don't have to fly the whole mission over in case of a crash to receive the "apple" award. I saved the mission just before landing at each airstrip on the mission, if I would have crashed then would not need to fly the whole mission over again.
