Meteor Crater

Meteor Crater, FSX FS2004

The Meteor Crater Map (or Barringer Crater) is a huge 4000 ft wide and 570 ft deep meteorite crater in the desert of Arizona, USA. The crater is clearly visible with the default terrain mesh of FSX.

Depart from Winslow-Lindbergh Regional Airport (KINW) and fly track 260 for 15 nm. Fly down the crater and see how huge it is.

Comments:

I looked for it in fs2004 and i didn't see it
cool ive been to the Creater its about a mile wide
It wasn't that big that i thought
Meteor Crater was form 65 million years ago when a asteroid or a meteor struck earth extincting the dinosaurs
WAY too small to extinct the dinos. Carter off the Yucatan is over 100 miles and thought to be one of the possible ones. Majority of the big ones have a large mound in the middle from earth blown up and then landing back down.
They think one off the Australian coast was the cause of the extinction. Cant remember where, just remember reading about it
On History channel there was a show that ssaid the crater is in the Gulf of Mexico just off the Yucatan.
Well if history channel says so, I won't dispute that. =)
This site has some wonderful Ideas for flying. I'll have to try them with Tileproxy. Thanks guys for the wonderful site!
Awesome
Is the crater visible in FS 2004?
